Students and faculty in the College of Communication and Information are highly encouraged to take advantage of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Social Studio for research projects. According to Salesforce, social data are acquired legitimately, appropriately and securely. All sources are accessed in compliance with the social media source’s terms and conditions and user agreements established. The data collected are secure and adhere to Salesforce TRUST standards to all sources and customer records.

Researchers will most likely develop projects using the Analyze function of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, whereby large social media data sets can be monitored, downloaded and/or exported for future use.
